A Personal Relationship is Required!

Let’s imagine that someone appears at the gate of the palaces of a royal family and asks to be allowed inside!

Is there any chance that he or she will be allowed to enter?

None!

And if he or she insists, saying that he is a good person and a good citizen of the Kingdom, the guards at the gate will answer:

“Being good is not enough.

To enter here, you must be a member of the royal family.

Or at least, you must have close ties with them so they will invite you in…

If you do not have a good personal relationship with them, you will never be allowed to enter the royal palace!”

 Dear reader,

One day, you too will ask to be allowed to enter the Kingdom of God!

What makes you think that you will be allowed in if you have not bothered to develop by then a close and submissive relationship with Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, in whom the entire Deity dwells?

Some may say:

“I already have a relationship with God!

I go to church and pray to Him every day…”

Good, but prayer is a monologue…

In a relationship, we speak to each other!

There is dialogue…

And it is much more important that you allow God to speak to you, than you to speak to Him!

He has much to tell you, and you have much to learn from him.                       The way He speaks to you is through His “Written Word,” which is found in the Holy Bible!

So, read the Bible, and especially the New Testament, and let Jesus speak to your heart.

The Bible is the Word of God that came to us straight from the mouth of God and that has been immortalized by the pen of the prophets and apostles…

Do not confuse the Bible with all other “religious” books which are merely words of men that may well be mistaken. Do not trust them.

If you want to drink clean water, you will drink it from its source, not its streams, isn’t it?

So it is with the Truth!

You will find it only in the Bible.

Reading the New Testament, you will learn that Jesus Christ invites each one of us, however unworthy we may be, to develop a personal and deep relationship with himself, and become a faithful and submissive follower of His.

By reading the Word of God daily, (as Jesus asks us to), you will get to know Him better and begin to love Him, for you will soon realize how much He loves you, how much he suffered for you, and how worthy he is of receiving your love, your worship, and obedience.

You will grasp the fact that Jesus died on the cross so as to save you, you personally!

He took upon himself the punishment for your sins, paying for them himself so that you wouldn’t have to pay for them in hell…

Decide to love him back, and show your gratitude and love by obeying Him, striving to live this life in a way that pleases him…as he would have lived it!

Doing so, you will create the “personal and meaningful relationship” that you need to have with God’s only Son so that he will invite you to enter in the Kingdom of God, when the time will come.

If you do not create such a personal and submissive relationship with him, you will remain outside, in the darkness of hell, no matter how “good” and worthy you may think you are…
